Juan Corres started dancing in his hometown Vitoria, Spain, and went on to study at London Contemporary Dance School. In the years 2007-09 he was part of the Dance Apprentice Network aCross Europe, working with its artistic directors William Forsythe, Wayne McGregor, Frédéric Flamand and Angelin Preljocaj. Since 2009 he has worked as a dancer with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Eva Recacha, Anna Röthlisberger and Aoife McAtamney. He is currently based in Berlin, where he has performed with Isabelle Schad, Sylvana Seddig, amongst others, and in theater with Thomas Bo Nilsonn, Schaubühne, and Johan Kresnik, Volksbühne. Parallel to his performance activities, Juan teaches dance and improvisation and enjoys letting the different practices feed each other.
