TATWERK is a production centre for the performing arts, the central hub of an ecosystem of different players in the independent scene, working in synergy on projects of different kinds.
TATWERK organises a program in its own studio and, as a nomadic venue, expands the accessibility of cultural offerings with events in public spaces and temporary venues.
TATWERK offers audiences direct and intensive access to the world of the independent scene, with the aim of creating unique aesthetic and social experiences that counteract the growing social divide.
TATWERK is part of an (international) network based on trust, solidarity and fair sharing of resources.
TATWERK is funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion of the State of Berlin.
