TATWERK is an independent production centre for the performing arts in Berlin.
It specialises in enabling and accompanying artistic creation throughout all phases of the working process.
TATWERK is a laboratory for the exploration of aesthetic potential and forms a diverse community as an incubator of new ideas, perspectives and practices.
The team around Aurora Kellermann and Chris Wohlrab is dedicated to creating the best possible working conditions for artists within the independent performing arts, shaping sustainable networks and cooperations and providing the audience with a simple but intensive and profound access to the experience of the performing arts.
The focus is on political and poetic projects, visionary concepts that reflect and question social dynamics and, on the basis of their questions, introduce new working methods and formats into the scene.
We welcome a diverse audience to our events, who want to go on a voyage of discovery into the depths of the contemporary performing arts.
