LIK Launch

  • LIK
  • July 21st 2024
  • TATWERK | Berlin

The collective LIK is celebrating the professional equivalent of an engagement, their daily collaboration, and everything that is yet to come.

The collective LIK (Lonnie Jasper & Nora Tormann) is celebrating the professional equivalent of an engagement, their daily collaboration, and everything that is yet to come. On a cozy Sunday afternoon, LIK invites you to TATWERK | Performative Research to chat, snack, and meet or reconnect with colleagues and friends. A program of artistic contributions will offer insights into the texts, performances, and artistic practices of some colleagues and friends from the LIK universe.

Anyone who wishes to come is welcome to bring time to linger, curiosity about what others are working on, and favorite people to make you feel comfortable. LIK looks forward to a fest that becomes what everyone present makes of it!

Thanks to everyone who makes the Launch to what it will be by contributing their art, food, and drinks.

Biography

The collective LIK (Nora Tormann and Lonnie Jasper) creates spaces for thought and frames artistic exchange. We understand LIK as a supportive environment for artistic ideas, concepts, processes, and transdisciplinary exchange. Our expertise resides in flexible, caring, and needs-oriented process design at all levels of artistic production. LIK works in the fields of dramaturgy, curation, and coordination with various actors in the independent performing arts in Berlin and across Germany. Most recently, LIK designed the artistic lab "performing for peers - audiences of (post)pandemic emerging professionals" (2023), commissioned by the Fonds Darstellende Künste, and conducted workshops, including at dramaturgie-netzwerk and International Theatre Institute (2024).
