A colorful, layered image showing a person performing live coding. Lines of computer code in bright greens, purples, and blues overlay the scene, blending with abstract visuals. The performer sits at a laptop with a microphone, creating music and visuals in real time. The image captures the fusion of art, code, and performance.

With an open workshop on the browser-based live coding tools nota and Estuary, and an interactive jam session as part of an international livestream, TATWERK creates a space for creative coding, sound art, and collective empowerment.
In a field still largely dominated by cis-male perspectives, TATWERK opens a space for exchange, expression, and solidarity – grounded in an intersectional feminist approach.
This event is aimed at FLINTA individuals* (women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender people) and allied supporters seeking a self-determined approach to technology and creative practice.
All genders are welcome as allies – show your support!

Open Workshop | 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
In an informal, collaborative setting, we’ll explore two exciting browser-based live coding tools:
Estuary – a classic in the live coding universe: estuary.mcmaster.ca
nota – a montage software developed by and for artists: nota.space
Bring your laptop!
Whether you're a beginner or experienced coder, this is a space to learn, share, and apply knowledge – with visible and audible results. It’s not just about code, but also about improvisation, music, and visual art.

Open Jam Session | 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
We close the day with a collective performance: experienced artists and coders improvise together with newcomers – combining music, video, and live performance.

A project by TATWERK | Performative Research in cooperation with LivecoderA Berlin.
Funded by the Project Fund for Cultural Promotion of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district.

Mars Löffler explores narratives from film, science fiction literature, and architecture, seeking intersections to weave in her own stories. She creates characters that she performs herself, materializing them through costume, video, ceramics, and drawing. Guided by an interest in cross-species, transformative processes and potentials, she develops fragmentary, non-linear narratives that speculate on alternative bodies.
