Two performers in a white studio space, both dressed in shades of pink, engaged in a synchronized gesture — hands raised and curved near their faces, one kneeling and one crouching.
Alica Minar & col.

A choreographic work on empathy as a relational and embodied practice. How close can we come with(out) touching, and what emerges in that charged space between bodies? Working with scores, somatic improvisation, and partner-based proximity, the piece explores heat, breath, micro-movement, and spatial listening as tools for negotiating attention, boundaries, and responsibility. Documentary and fictional layers intertwine, drawing from personal encounters, imagined situations, and shared reflection. Empathy unfolds here not as a stable value, but as something that shifts, resists, and takes form between bodies ~ shaped through presence, vulnerability, and the willingness to stay with difference.
